ReplyDeleteI wanted to do a quick test with these and I was very pleased with the results. I didn't have any actual degreaser or carpet shampoo on hand so I mixed a bit of white vinegar, warm water, and a few drops of dawn dish soap in a spray bottle.
My old beater is in some serious need of a good cleaning. It's the perfect test subject before I buy shampoo and try these brushes on my truck. There's a few rusty spots from old tools sitting around and the drivers seat was covered in years worth of grease and dirt from my clothes (I work on cars for a living).
I only had enough battery power in my drill for a few test spots so either a corded drill or spare batteries is definitely a must. As you can see in the pictures the brushes definitely work great even with an iffy homebrew concoction of cleaners. If I spent more time going over these spots I'm sure they would come out even nicer but I'll wait for the shampoo to go any further with it. They do fling the muddy liquid all over the place which is expected from a spinning brush so don't use these after wiping down any panels or windows. I suggest vacuuming before using these and then again after wiping the panels and windows down.
I give this product a 10/10 for my application. They work exactly as I was hoping and I'd suggest these to friends and family if ever asked about cleaning a vehicle's interior. I didn't put much if any effort into cleaning with these but had very good results anyway.
